June 2011 will see the launch of an Australian online bookshop with a rather special flavour for writers. It is positioning itself as the vehicle for writers - especially first time writers - to launch their work to a worldwide market.
The aim of WritersAndEbooks.com is, as its name suggests, to work with writers to drive hard into the fast growing ebook market.
The owner of the project, FC Productions, is a specialist book printer of high repute. The company has for many years been a keen supporter of the arts and now offers a great opportunity for writers to launch their books without the great expense involved in printing or paying publishers. It may seem crazy that a book printer will try to save writers from printing books, but that's FC Productions. They care, really care.
Francis Chuah says: "We have printed many titles and we see the passion our writer customers have for their creations. They carry away their 100 or so books with real excitement.
