CHARLOTTE ROBSON - ASPIRING WRITER
I currently live in Edinburgh but originally come from Carlisle. My father is a journalist and my love of reading and writing comes from him.
We moved to Edinburgh when I was fourteen. I got a music scholarship to an independent school (I'm a singer and cellist) and, although music was my first study, I always loved English and creative writing. Beyond school I have not done a great deal with it but try to keep something going when I'm not working.
My main inspirations are authors like Khalid Hosseini and people who write about different cultures. I love travelling and find spending time abroad really sparks my imagination. I very much like the idea of being able to share some of my writing with other authors although I have to say that i also have a fear of receiving criticism!.
Much of my writing to date has been auto biographical but have had a few ideas for novels and would like some advice on the best way to start. |
