Dr Lindsay Simpson - Academic and Author Dr Lindsay Simpson is the author and co-author of seven books, including the bestselling Brothers in Arms with Sandra Harvey. Their second book, My Husband My Killer was made into a telemovie with Screentime, the same producers of Underbelly, starring Colin Friels. She and Sandra received the Lifetime Achievement from the Ned Kelly Awards in 2007 for their work in crime writing.
Dr Lindsay Simpson also wrote To Have and To Hold with Walter Mikac published by Pan Macmillan and The Australian Geographic Guide to Tasmania. Her first novel, The Curer of Souls was published in 2006 with Random House. Lindsay was an investigative journalist at The Sydney Morning Herald for 12 years.
She is the founding head of journalism and media studies at the University of Tasmania. She, along with colleague Amy Forbes, designed the new Bachelor of Multimedia journalism curriculum which will begin next year at JCU.
