J. R. Mitchell - Fiction Writer
J.R. Mitchell, better known as Jo Mitchell - Owned her own marketing business before pursuing her love of writing. Jo has a business degree in Management and Marketing from QUT.

Writing is her passion, and the genre of Fantasy/Sci-Fi is the catalyst behind her love for this creative side of her life. Jo said "If you have ever had a moment in your life where you feel driven to achieve something inspirational, than you will know how I feel about writing. Nothing I have ever accomplished throughout my whole life has ever given me this much satisfaction or self-awareness. It is as if someone is channeling these stories through me. I see the scenes in vivid pictures and I translate that through my fingers to the keyboard."

Jo released her first book Pathway of the Gods in January 2008 in a trilogy entitled The Immortals This is her first attempt at creative writing; she said 'It's a rather huge step into the deep unknown for me. I placed my heart on my sleeve in taking my first novel in the series to commercialisation. In the last eight months I have sold 500 copies and am now in the process of reprinting it again along with my second novel
