While working as a News Reader in Scotland Magda, on her way home, saw a boy racing across a wild moor. Concerned, she stopped her car as he crossed the road. He told her he'd found the wind trapped in a cave. From this experience came the inspiration for the epic poem WindRose and for the song A Highland Lament. WindRose has since become a Symphonic Poem, music composed by Cathy Applegate, which had its premiere in Darwin by Darwin Symphony Orchestra in 2009. Better still WindRose is now a fully fledged spoken opera.
Magda Palmer has also written The Healing Power of Crystals a book which sold out across the world before it hit the market. The Healing Power of Crystals was the first book of its kind in modern times which prompted many others on the subject. Magda studied Gemmology, conferred with Astronomers and Geologists as well as Astrologers in order to have correct information in The Healing Power of Crystals. She's slowly but surely working on revised edition which should be on the market at the end of this year. |
