Megan Bayliss is The Junk Wave. She is also an author, a trainer and a guest speaker with a professional background in helping children and families.

Megan is a social worker (expertise in sexual assault and community child protection) who now prefers just being social; a social commenter via professional blogging and other forums offered to her.
Megan is the author of Bitss of Caramel Marmalade on Toast (children's chapter book) a published free lance writer (fiction and non fiction, academic and short stories) a trainer in protective behaviours, life story work, emotional intelligence, writing to be published and recycled craft (and, hint, hint, Megan LOVES travelling her trainings). Further, Megan is the designer and author of the BITSS model of protective behaviours, and a very funny and entertaining guest speaker - be sure to wear your incontinence pads to her talks!
Megan and her family live in beautiful Cairns, right on the Great Barrier Reef. Megan was born and grew up in Papua New Guinea and has a love affair with the tropics. As much as she threatens to leave, Megan is never away for long because people in away places wear cardigans and jumpers! Holidays in the cold are acceptable but Megan always returns to her beloved Northern sanctuary where rainforest kisses the ocean shore.
Megan LOVES dogs, chocolate, children, recycling and fresh flowers. A mother of four and grand mother of two, Megan has retired from Social Work to facilitate The Junk Wave, to write, to train and to smell the fresh flowers that get sent to her on occasion (she's too lazy to grow her own!). She's really keen to receive more flowers,….or chocolate, so therefore she has to keep publishing.
