Peter D. Mack has written for a variety of magazines in Australia and the USA such as The Retiree, Australian Golf Digest, Golf Magazine Australia, Australian Runner, A Distinctive Style in Dallas, Texas as well as a wide range of technical articles in the packaging industry. He has also written a number of Grant Applications as well as producing Business Plans for fledgling companies seeking to formalise their growth and gain market penetration.
Peter once wrote an advertisement for a company which was placed in the Brisbane Courier mail for two Saturdays in a row. The company received over 2,500 phone calls in four weeks generating around 1.5 million dollars in deposits.
In the past few years Peter has travelled the world a few times writing and taking photographs for a number of publications. With friends in the writing, publishing, and script writing industry in Hollywood USA he is firmly entrenched in the creative side of writing. He is 30,000 words into his first novel, 10,000 into his second and 1,454 into his third which he believes will take precedence over the others. Finding BCC has given him the focus to continue and refresh the journey.
He has a quirky sense of humour and sees things in a different light to most people. He has been known to say 'Think outside the circle?...I've never been inside it.' His writing is not genre specific and he bounces around between them all.
Peter has joined Book Creators Circle because he was impressed by its ethos and he wishes to expand his own literary repertoire. The amazingly creative people he has met through this concept has re-invigorated his enthusiasm for writing, photography and every other form of creativity.
He says, 'BCC encourages, assists, and accepts writers with no agenda or pre-conceived expectations. It encourages writers to be informed, to learn their craft and to support one another. Furthermore, I can live anywhere in the world and always be part of Book Creators Circle.'
Peter D. Mack is also a member of Tropical Writers Group, Cairns and Nitewriters, Coffs Harbour.
