1.We welcome visitors and contributors to use this site as a resource, of building connections with people in the book industry and with writers from aspiring to academic all over the world. Our aim is to bring the Australian book business closer to the rest of the world and vice-versa. We urge you to familiarise yourself with the extent of knowledge and skills of all our contributors and to note that we encourage international relations and good-will. We also encourage constructive and considered feedback. This site comes under the jurisdiction of Australian law. Any disputes arising from this site or because of this site will be resolved by the responsible parties by mediation first and under the Australian Law and in Australia.
2.It is imperative that as viewers or contributors that you note that changes may occur that you are responsible for checking the Terms and Conditions page, all pages on this site and your own web page regularly. Members on this site adhere to the terms and conditions.
3.The contributors and owners of Book Creators Circle are not responsibile for any misinformation that may occur on this site or of any outcome from using this site either by the viewers to the site or the contributors on the site. Misinformation, errors etc will be resolved by removal and we urge viewers and contributors to notify us.
4.Though we encourage good-will, support and solid relations, we are not responsible and take no legal responsibility if support is not given by another contributor, publisher, business etc. from this site or if they refuse to do business. We respect and support the right of individuality of all our contributors. Everything entered on this site has been done so in good faith and we are not responsible if the information supplied to us or entered on behalf of a contributor etc is seen to be in breach of moral rights, copyright, defamatory, in breach of human rights, in conflict of interest, is false information or has not acknowledged all parties. All disputes will be mediated and resolved under Australian law and in Australia.
5.We urge viewers and contributors to participate in our spirit of good-will and support Australian and international writers and book businesses. We urge you to build networks and community in the book industry that are productive and supportive of authors all over the world. Therefore, we encourage you to familiarise yourself well with the contributors on this site, their web page and the various links found on the site.
6.As a contributor, I/we, as contributor(s) understand that to be a member of this site means that I/we shall not be using Trademarks that I/we do not own. We shall not be in breach of any contractual obligations with any other parties, publishers, business partners etc. I/we understand that I/we take full legal responsibility for all information submitted on my/our behalf by Book Creators Circle management and will ensure to check the web page and these terms and conditions regularly and take full responsibility to resolve disputes arising from it and take responsbility for what is advertised by me/us.
7.Book Creators Circle will undertake to check credibility of contributors. We use professional proof readers and exercise the right to modify written material to make corrections as we see fit in our endeavour to keep a high level of professionalism at all times. We are not responsible for e.g: errors on any part of the site, false information, lack of sales, loss of revenue, breach of copyright, conflict of interest or moral right, if authors/writers have not acknolwedged to acknowledge appropriate parties, publishers or if disputes should arise.
8.Book Creators Circle has the right to remove any details, edit and change information found to be using incorrect grammar or punctuation, misinformation, abusive, defamatory, in breach of human rights, in breach of copyright, or moral rights or likely to cause offense, disputes or transgresses the law. All disputes will be mediated and resolved under Australian law and in Australia.
9.This site will endeavour to maintain a high standard in its profiling and encourages professionalism by all contributors towards each other and in dealings with Book Creators Circle management. Book Creators Circle has the right to remove contributors who are found to be in breach of any of the above and we take no legal responsibility for their removal.
10.All profiles submitted will be edited for errors and the marketing team will determine the formatting. It is the contributors' responsibility to check the web page on completion of the entry, to sign off in an email to the terms and conditions and a Tax Invoice for the work done will be provided. It is the contributor's responsiblity to check this site and his or her or their web page regularly for changes, errors, omissions etc and to notify Book Creators Management.
11.Payment is on an annual basis and notice will be sent out for renewal of membership. Price variations from year to year may occur.
12.Every contributor to this site is encouraged to support Book Creators Circle by making suggestions and informing us immediately of complaints or where a breach may occur by the information entered. We aim to raise our level of professionalism at all times and bring about better outcomes for the Australian and international authors/writers and businesses profiled on this site. We encourage contributors and viewers to give us feedback and support us in our endeavours.
13.We urge all contributors to be professional in their conduct in marketing this site. We also urge you to notify your publishers, agents, readers and supporters that you are profiling yourself on this site and to use every marketing opportunity such as media coverage, festivals, book launches, book exhibitions, email signatures and guest speaking engagements to promote this site as your own and as a collective site in the interest of authors, writers and book business working in the service of bridging the gaps in the production and marketing of books.
14. We urge all contributors to promote this site in your own interest and in the interest of the other contributors on the site. We encourage you to let the above mentioned contacts know regularly of updates and changes be it to your web page(s) or of new contributors to the site.
15. We urge you as writer/author or business to show courtesy by acknowledging your publishers and any parties who has or shares copyright of your material and notifying us to make amendments to your web page or business banner etc. We take your information and service this site in good faith of all the material entered and endeavour to check all of the above ourselves. However, we are not responsible for misinformation or if the information given is not updated by the contributor(s).
16. We invite contributors to use this site well and to contribute regularly to the Review Page, the Contributors' Tips and Promotional Tips under Writers Circle. When and where possible we shall attempt profiling an author in more than one location on the site and endeavour to check all entries with the contributor. Entry and long term inclusion of information on these mentioned pages is subject to availability. Book Creators Circle will remain impartial in support of its writers and does not endorse any party on this site but encourages and assists those contributors who want to promote themselves. We like to link people and businesses in the best interest of both parties and try to offer each of our contributors the best profile and best service possible. If any dispute arises between Contributor(s) and Book Creators Circle all shall be resolved by mediation and under the Australian Law and in Australia.
