Helen Harman / Andrea Doherty - Family Historians
Harbouring a desire to publish their family history for the past few years, Helen Harman and Andrea Doherty are in the process of editing a tribute to their ancestors and developing their knowledge as family historians. With their Great Great Grandmother being their common denominator and driving force, these cousins have collaborated to unearth some amazing stories.

Fifth generation Australians, Helen and Andrea have always held a fascination for what brought their forebears from the United Kingdom, Germany, New Zealand and Russia to a new life in Australia since the 1830s. And not a convict amongst them!

In addition to many family members also contributing to the saga, this mission has been made much easier and accessible since the advent of the Internet, and the recent resurgence in genealogy. Intermittently interrupted with the necessities of living, it's a culmination of over 25 years research and the sheer tenacity, or should that be obsession, to keep seeking.

Antoinette's Fork will not only be a dedication to their ancestors' courage and pioneering spirit, but also a legacy for future generations. As fifth generation Australians, Helen and Andrea, bear witness to this legacy and set an example to other family historians.
